The Mission
Explore. Engage. Express. All groups and organizations are prone to lose sight of the goals that knit them together in the first place. Some might say that churches are at the top of this list. They might be right. The truth is, that when humans are at the helm, all bets are off. We get distracted, lose focus, and organizations once built on the noblest of principles get hijacked by self-serving agendas. Placing our eyes on the mission — clarifying and re-clarifying that mission is our best weapon in this struggle.
This three-week series is an unveiling of sorts for our own recently clarified Mission. While some of the words have changed, the mission remains unchanged. Whether you’re brand-new, or you’ve been attending Renaissance for years, our hope is that we will all gain a deeper understanding of who we are, what God is calling us to do, and how we’re going to go about it. We’re very excited about this. We think you will be too.

My Story
real-life tales of redemption Each of us has a story. Like any great literary work, our stories are full of highs, lows, and unexpected plot twists. While we're unable to see what lies ahead in our own lives, the Bible tells us that God is at work even now, using our unique stories to accomplish His purpose in the world.
In this message series, we'll look at the unexpected plot twists in the lives of three ordinary people, and how Grace and Redemption showed up in extraordinary ways!

Body Parts
Core values for a healthy body In the Bible, God's design for the Church is described as being like a body. Each part has it's own role, yet works together with the others to accomplish a greater purpose. When Renaissance became a church eight years ago, we created a set of core values to help guide us in how we operate as a church. These guiding principles are very much like Renaissance's vital organs. Together they represent who we seek to be as a church, but also as individuals. In the coming weeks, we'll take a tour of some very important body parts that can transform our church and our lives in powerful ways.
