Steve YoungDirector of Creative ArtsOriginally from Southern California, Steve joined the Renaissance staff in 2001. Steve studied music at Concordia University Irvine, CA and graduated from the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles with a double major in Keyboard Performance and Composition (with an emphasis in film scoring). With over 15 years in ministry, Steve has served in two churches prior to Renaissance. One was a church of over 5000. The other was a start-up church, similar to Renaissance. In the mid 1990's, Steve started Arts Impact, a coaching and consulting ministry that has helped dozens of churches and other ministry-related organizations improve their communication deliverables. Steve has enjoyed a productive career in the music business, working as a keyboard player, producer, and a composer for film, television and radio. His book, All About Music Technology in Worship (Hal Leonard) was published in 2004. Steve is married to Victoria (who also sings with the Renaissance Band). They have two young boys (Jordan & Brady), and a little girl (Miranda) and live in Short Hills.
